These have a resistor built in that can sense overheating and will stop the solenoid from frying! This is very important when you are using them in doors that you can potentially be locked out of! Most other manufacturers use a fuse to try and protect their solenoids, but that doesn't work! Universal design will work with almost any vehicle.  Will work with any Alarm System, Remote Start or Keyless Entry when equpped with Auxiliary or Aux Outputs. (Relays may be required)
